Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union is making available this array of voluntary insurance programs to employees of Northrop Grumman Corporation. This coverage is also available to those who qualify by their relationship to Northrop Grumman employees but are ineligible for Northrop Grumman benefits. Each is offered by an outside provider and includes Long Term Care (LTC), Auto, Homeowner's, and Life insurance coverage. These plans are not related in any way to coverage offered through Northrop Grumman employment or retirement benefits programs. The coverage secured through this Voluntary Insurance program will remain in effect as long as you continue to pay your premiums whatever your employment status.

New full-time active employees may be eligible for guaranteed issue insurance coverage if applied for within the first 60 days of employment. Also, special limited open enrollment efforts from time to time may provide continuing employees with guaranteed issue insurance. Please refer to the provider's website or call for complete details. After the open enrollment period ends, all employees will be required to provide Evidence of Insurability (EOI) when applying for coverage.

This coverage provides a wide range of long term care options including nursing home care, assisted living, home health care, adult day care, and hospice care with daily benefits of up to $300 and a lifetime maximum up to $450,000. This coverage is totally portable.
